Please read part 1 of Volume 2 before starting this novel. The story picks up directly after the events of part 1. While training on the moon of Galsin, Ryan and his friends are beset by mysterious forces under the command of the Fallen. At the same time, Ryan's teacher, Eramar Razor, is on the trail of a death cult known as the Mages who are in league with the Fallen. Revelations abound as our heroes discover truths they would have preferred to remain hidden.
The Bard's Tales Story (1) In a time before man rose to prominence, when magic flowed like water from every rock and plant, three great races vied for dominance. In their arrogance they even challenged the Gods, and almost succeeded. The Gods ensured that little evidence remained of their achievements and knowledge. That however, was about to change.
The Bard's Tales Story (4) There is an old saying that Evil flourishes when Good men do nothing. In the end the universe always returns to center. But what if Evil is given a helping hand to the extent that the balance can no longer adjust? Something more drastic is required. This is one of those times.
The top hit man in the country successfully completes another murder. His victim's father captures him and his family. His family are tortured and murdered then he's killed, sort of. God offers him a second chance. Can Jonas survive God's Missions, even with a few enhancements and God's help? His skill and resolve are tested as he struggles to protect God's innocent souls in this world. But, his survival isn't the primary goal. Mission success is the only acceptable result.
The Bard's Tales Story (3) The third chapter in the saga of Aaron Whiterune; exiled prince, thief and assassin. If you haven't done so already, I suggest you read the first two stories.
