A Dark Wars Tale
One of the greatest prophets in human history was just born in an out-of-the-way inn's stable and already his destiny is in jeopardy. The King in Jerusalem and the religious elders, warned of his coming, seek out the child in order to assure fate does not play out as is foretold. Shocked by this vision, the master of a school for the arcane in the city of Taksasila summons three of his best masters for a mission into the Roman Empire to lay protections upon the child and save his destiny.
A family walks into a haunted house. A battle of light and dark ensues. In the end it is their love that saves them and gives an innocent her wings. This is a very, very short story to get me back into the mindset of posting.

Reporter Seosamh O'Niall had seen it all and gotten really good at reporting on it. That was until he got a call one night from his sister's godfather, a cop working on a recent serial murder case. In a dark, rain-wet alley he found he only knew half of what "it all" entailed. When he saw the sheet covered lump that was his sister laying in the alley, he learned the rest of "it all." His soul demanding justice, his study with druids allowed him to seek it. But all power comes at a price.

The One button and the Zero button, the buttons that get pushed all the time, stopped working on Waldo’s microwave. The dead buttons bothered Waldo. Because of his piano keyboard. Most songs get played near middle C using maybe 52 keys. Waldo found that all those keys that never got used open up a new universe of music. Before Waldo was thru, even the god, herself, stopped weaving the tapestry of fate for a moment while she tapped what passed for a foot to a music never played before.
