A Story in the Choices Universe
Inspired very vaguely by one of my favourite songs. A guy's wife makes an unexpected announcement whilst they're eating dinner one evening. But apparently, the announcement might not have come as so much of a surprise, to some of the others sharing the table!
Imagine, if you will, that you are sitting in a bar having quiet drink with an old (newly divorced) friend, and he relates his tale of woe to you. This one should be read with a certain amount of scepticism when it comes to exactly what the narrator is telling the reader. But generally, I would suggest that that same scepticism suggested when reading this tale, would be advised when reading most of my —ahem— literary masterpieces. Alright, demented ravings! Happy Now?
A little wander through the realms of the improbable. Or maybe a wander into the possibility that those who have passed-on might be able to tamper with the lives of the living. No actually ghostly apparitions, more the possible influence or thoughts they might introduce into the unconscious mind.
