A little wander through realms of improbability, concerning a confused young man and his interactions with one particular member of female of our species. Of course it is possible that the young lady in question, had just came up with a novel approach to solving the problem of “not" being noticed, by her intended pray.
A widowed man returns to take a walk along the riverbank, again. A place that's been special to him since his childhood, but he hadn’t visited for sometime. Because it is interrupted, the walk that day was to be a little different.
We meet many people as we go through life. Some of whom are apparently friendly, but regretfully others are apparently hostile. But then again are we ever sure why they are showing that hostility and/or who it is really aimed at? This is a little tale of misunderstanding, or maybe misinterpretation, of someone's motives.
A broke, down in the dumps – and down on his luck -- divorced guy accepts the offer of a free drink from a nefarious one-time school classmate who he hasn’t come across for years. But the friend takes him to a very questionable pub, where he meets an even more questionable character. The very next day his life is turned completely upside down… or maybe, the right way up!
Arriving at Naples airport, a guy – with a little bit of a chip on his shoulder -- unexpectedly runs into and old adversary, who has a little problem. The adversary needs help, so the guy decides to offer his assistance. But he intends that he will have a little fun -- and get some payback -- at the same time. But things don’t really turn out as he expected.
As we go through life, we often overhear other people talking to each. This tale represents the transcript of short conversation, overheard after a university graduation ceremony held in a Cathedral in Bristol. What happened later is anyone guess.
The second story of the pair, although really the first (go figure?). Both these tales developed out of one basic idea, that’s been kicking around in my head for some considerable time now. I had almost completed writing this one when the idea for “that scene” jumped into my head and that dictated the second scenario. There was just no-way that I couldn’t write it!

Another little wander into the realms of the improbable. This one might be a little difficult to understand, but as the characters have little idea what the devil is going on anyway; the reader should not feel alone.
A little tongue in cheek composition, that is not intended to be taken seriously.
No good deed goes unpunished! A young man finds that a good-hearted gesture, has come back to bite him many years later. I'm sorry but the wrong file was posted, I will replace it when I discover where the correct one has disappeared to.
