It's Five O'clock Somewhere!

By Denham Forrest

This is a story that I was not expecting. After seeing the title and assuming it is was just another tale about drowning the heartache of lost love, reminiscent of Alan Jackson’s song of the same name from 2003, boy was I wrong. Denham Forrest created a tale of epic proportions. Take one husband Royston Granger, who puts his working life on hold, while his wife Leticia climbs up the treacherous slops of upper management, to raise twins, with the assurance that he could go return back to his job after x number of years. Doesn’t happen, that is the plot and Denham lets anguish pain and back stabbing in the story flow to the bitter end, or is it so bitter? It’s Five O’clock Somewhere! An enticing story of love lost found. A must read in my opinion.
