A decade ago, a mysterious tower appeared between two apartment buildings on Central Park West in New York City. Its appearance touched off a series of debates and investigations as to how and where the tower came from. With the new building came a set of very odd features. Such as people with histories already living in the tower. Every storm that came through the area seemed attracted to it. Then there were the dead bodies. One hundred twenty-three so far. This is the story of the Storm Tower.

Arsène Lupin in the greatest predicament of his career. Instead of the old masterful conqueror of men and circumstances against tremendous odds, we find him, until almost the final chapter, pitted against foemen worthy of his steel, who outwit him time and time again and involve him in a struggle for his very life!
Eventually it turns into saving lost spirits. The first part was a college paper I wrote in the summer of 1995. I don't remember where I was going with it. Part two I wrote this week and it fills in where the story goes and who the characters are. There will be some discrepancy between parts one and two. Part three is the actual stories. It ends kind of abruptly as I needed to move on to other stuff. It still needs to be rewritten/edited.
It spoke to me a light; "My child, are you not tired of this sin filled world?" "Come and embrace me. Accept me." It called to me; A Paradise. It granted to me; An Eternity. It brought to me; Salvation. No pain. No fear. No evil. No sins. No deaths. For this world is Eden. And it shall burn.
The world of Darvin Carpenter, a PI in Albuquerque, NM
This is actually the second Carpenter novel, but it's the first which is available for me to post. This is the first visit of the Carpenters to Red Hawk since Darvin left Red Hawk back in the 80s. It ties in with a short story called "Ghost," which I'm also posting so you can get the background of this novel. Also, because of the overwhelmingly positive feedback from The Chief, I'll be posting more chapters at a time. :)
