Science Fiction Story: March 2018 Aliens invade Earth, "Ground Zero" is near the Barranca del Cobre (the Copper Canyon) in western Chihuahua state of Mexico. "Any sufficiently advanced technology may be indistinguishable from magic." Government officials in Mexico, the USA, and elsewhere are focused upon other "more important" matters. This is a story of those who witnessed these events; while most other people didn't take these events seriously, if they paid any attention at all.
