Sevia is an imaginary Balkan country in an "alternative history" Europe. It is a place where two languages and cultures clash, creating endless unrest.
The stories in this universe are the stories of Sevian people on both sides of the conflict as they struggle to live well and to find peace and hope in the midst of warfare.
Sam promised to make her sister a dress for the school dance, but just before she's ready to add the finishing touches, it disappears--stolen!
