A review of an excellent story written by Ernest Bywater. The story opens On the Road in New South Wales, Australia, an automobile wreck an orphan and a survivor. In the van we meet ten year Pat Nolan and watch him grow from a kid into a seventeen year old adult. As Pat grows up he learns about survival with his grandfather and ex military friends in the Texas scrub country. Survivor is a great story to immerse yourself into with drug running, gun battles and rescuing damsels.
