I've been moaned at by two readers who have pointed out that Fockker was actually Dutch not German. I've just posted a corrected chapter which should be online in about two hours (17:45 GMT).
My thanks to them for this correction.

I've done it again! In the opening of chapter 18 I called the villian 'Marcus Anthony' not 'Marcus Anderson'! this was missed by me during my read through.
On another note, I was asked why didn't Chris cure Evelyn ... (I hadn't thought of this at all) but while I was answering I realised that it opened a new story, what happens when a cure for all ills is announced, what would Governments and criminals do to ensure they kept control? this will have to be for the fourth story in the series.
BUT I'm working on a completely different story which may have to be shelved so that I can keep writing on this ... what to do? What to do?

After my admitting to my failing, I now have three people proof-reading this story, Vlad the Inhaler, SilentThunder and ilox11.
To whom I give my heart-felt (and all my grovelling) thanks. with these three I should be infullable! :-)

Okay I admit it, I'm not the greatest speller in the world! this latest chapter in the Chris Beaker series has several mistakes that - hopefully - are being reposted in the next few hours. I've had one offer of a proof-reader and I'm waiting on his/her reply.
I hope things will get better after that.
forgot to add the fact I pressed the wrong button and made the story concluded when it wasn't!
