Due to medical issues, there will be a one week delay in posting the next chapter of Corruption. Chapter 16 - New Year's Eve will be posted on Friday, April 17th.
I apologize for any frustration for those that were looking forward to my posting today. However, as many of you know, none of us has a lot of control over health.
Thanks for reading my stories.

I posted Chapter 13 earlier today. I did something wrong and didn't include the whole chapter. I reposted the correct chapter.
Thanks for your patience.

Chapter 4 of Corruption - Book 2 of the Evolution series is being posted today. I sincerely hope that you enjoy it. It is a cliff hanger, but that happens at the end of chapters for books. My apologies in advance for any that gets upset about the cliff hanger.
This chapter is more about scientific advantages the alien brought to the group in the form of advanced nanobots. I had some pushback on this chapter because the nanobots seemed to much like magic. Some of you may have noticed in other stories of mine, that I'm not afraid to ask a reader to take a leap of imagination. The existence if ethereal aliens is a large leap of imagination. The things that I ask readers to believe about nanobots is also a leap of imagination, but a very small leap.
'Nanobot micromotors deliver medical payload in living creature for the first time' is the title of an article on WWW.Gizmag.com
Every day, one of the first things I do, is look at reports of recent discoveries and scientific accomplishments. The accomplishments of mankind is pretty impressive, especially considering we were struggling with getting out of the horse and buggy stage a hundred years ago. I'm impressed at what men are accomplishing today, but I also try to picture what each discovery will lead to in 20, 50, or 100 years. The article above is only one reference that led to the ideas in this chapter. What would happen if outside knowledge allowed men to skip 50 or 100 years of development of a technology discovery made today?
Enjoy the read. Chapter 5 will be posted next Friday.

I've just posted Chapter 16, Ancient History, for the 'Once Upon an Alien' story. This chapter made the prolog redundant. Since I didn't like the prolog to start with, I decided to rewrite it, again, so it flowed better with the story. I hope that everyone enjoys it.
Thanks for reading.

I would like to thank everyone for their patience while I moved and settled my family. We still aren't finished with unpacking, but anyone that has moved their household understands that. I hope we can finish that little chore sometime in the next six months.
The important thing is, I do have time to start writing again. Not as much as I did over the last year, but more than I had before the last year. I have more 'chores' to do and am thoroughly enjoying them.
There is a rhythm to writing a story. I'm not sure if that is true for everyone that writes, but it is for me. I found that I couldn't just sit down and start writing where I left off six weeks ago. My solution to the problem was to start at the beginning of the story and read, and tweak, until I arrived at where I previously stopped. That is my explanation of why I am reposting the entire story to this point.
If anyone decides to reread from the beginning, you won't see any great changes in the story line. A few things may be a little clearer because most of the changes are in the Prolog. Some characters may be a little more developed. But the story is essentially the same.
During my 'down time' I wrote snippets' and notes about the rest of this story. I am in the process of putting them together so they make some kind of sense. The next chapter is essentially finished and I will post it soon, as in the next 24 hours.
Thanks again for your patience. I hope you enjoy the rest of the story.
