A blade, thin and sharp.
A hilt, large and sturdy.
A scabbard, made of wood.
The sword, of steel.
A person, the wielder.
The sweat and blood fused with the metal.
A month's past, the finish.
The blade, long and strong.
The hilt, well crafted.
The scabbard, long since carved.
The person, a trained master.
Together a soul, a mind, a body, honed to perfection.
A sword is an extension of your body, mind and soul.
Treat it with respect and care.
And for ever more shall it serve you on the field of battle.
With honor and sacrifice, will the swordsman be able to wield the sword.
