The Nightmare is determined to kill all Wizards and Sorceress. The Dark Dream has insinuated itself into the very ranks of the Wizard Councils, and no one is safe. It wants to kill them all, except for Sean David Kilpatrick Flynn. The Nightmare can rule the world for all time with Sean's body by supplanting the young Wizard's soul. Megan's wrath had not been considered in the Nightmare's plans, and the entire world was shocked when her anger was unleashed to save Sean.

This story is fiction, but not the facts. Information from Sumerian translations are true. Hindu texts of battles in space...true. Einstein's brain autopsy proved that he used more of his brain than other humans. How is that possible? How do men get flashes of genius, and why doesn't everyone function at that level of ability all the time? Why did the Dark Ages happen, and why does mankind seem to be sliding that direction again? Many years of peace followed Sean's rescue. Peaceful if you didn't count training, and interference by the Wizard's Council. The Council voted to delay the young Magi joining the Council and required a quest due to their immaturity. They decided to join 'normal' society with their extra time. The Prescott High School would never be the same. They could decide if the unpleasant task of completing the quest and joining the Council was really desirable. Do we always have choices in life?

Set in 1547, it's the story of two boys who are identical in appearance: Tom Canty, a pauper who lives in Offal Court in London; and Prince Edward, son of King Henry VIII. Tom Canty and Prince Edward,meet, and as a jest, switch clothes. The Prince leaves the palace and fares poorly in London, Meanwhile the court and the King insist that Tom is the true prince gone mad. After the death of the King, Edward interrupts Tom's coronation and the boys explain, and Edward is crowned King of England
