Chapter 5

As me and Caleb arrive to the cafe, I couldn’t help but admire how nice it is in here. I have never been in our towns cafe except for the time that Emma made me take her here so she can check out the cute guys. Worst mistake.

I go up to the counter to order and this guy was handsome. He looked around twenty-five, but he was still handsome. He has short black hair and he had the brightest--almost neon-- blue eyes.

“How about you go find us a place to sit. What would you like?” Caleb whispered in my ear as he grabs the wallet from his back pocket.

“Caramel frappe, please.” I told him and went to find us a booth until I accidentally bump into someone.

“I’m so sor...” I stopped myself as soon as I found out who it was.

Natasha Goldman and her clique. Well isn’t this a good timing?

“Maybe you should really watch where the hell you’re going.” She said in the most squeakiest voice ever.

“Natasha back off.” Caleb came up behind me.

Natasha rolls her eyes at us and walks away with her minions behind her.

“Sorry about her” Caleb apologized.

“It’s fine.”

We find a booth and I couldn’t help but notice the view. The cafe was right by front of the beach so I was watching smoking hot guys playing volleyball. Shirtless. This is why never take Emma to the cafe anymore.

“So are you from around here?” Caleb trying to capture my attention away from the beach hotties.

“Actually yeah. I go to your school.” I fake smiled.

“Really? I can’t believe I didn’t recognize that cute face “ He presses his lips together

“Here are y’all’s coffees” The handsome cashier guy handed me and Caleb’s coffee at once. “If y’all need anything y’all just let me know” he smiled and his teeth are so white and perfect.

“So you trying for cheer leading this year?” Caleb takes a sip of his coffee.

“Oh no” I smiled. “I’m definitely not the cheerleader type.”

“Oh come on you would be a cute cheerleader. You would make the team, I just know it.” He smiles.

“How?” I raise my eyebrows.

“Because I know everything.” He jokes.

“Are you trying out for football this year?” I take a sip out of my coffee.

“Oh you know it. I might even be quarterback this year.” He nods as he takes a sip out of his coffee.

After finishing our coffees, Caleb gets up from the booth and holds out his hand to take mine;I take it and walk out here.

We arrived at my house and just when I was getting out of the vehicle Caleb kinda still has a grip on my hand which made me stay in the car.

“I had fun today” He kissed my cheek.

“I did too” I smiled at him as I got out of his car.

I keep smiling even when I got into the house and I see Emma having a mouthful of food. To think she was trying to eat less. A rush of anger rushes through me when I notice an empty Nutella container with a spoon still in it.

“Emma, why did you eat my Nutella?” I picked up the empty container.

“Because I can,” She snatched it out of my hand. “Just get your boyfriend to get you some.”

“Or just stop eating it.” I snap. She rolls her eyes and continues watching her show.

I go up to my room to lay down then my phone goes off. It’s a text from Jordan. I opened it and it said wanna hang out today? I laid here and think long and hard about this. But I don’t really feel like going anywhere today. But I don’t really want to be rude and reject his offer.
