Author’s notes:

This novel is a work of fiction. No depictions of any actual persons, places, events or entities are intended or implied.

Grateful acknowledgement is due to my editor who rode a long, bumpy road with me throughout the time required to turn a rough story idea into a coherent piece of work. Without this person’s tactful mentoring and diligent application of his craft this story would still be a concept.
