Little Girls of Wonder - A Story of Hope
Chapter 6

"Next, we go to visit our friends the fairies," states Uncle Allan, also very proud of Hope.

"The fairies? That sounds fun!"

After they dry off and get dressed again, they head back through the Enchanted Forest and out to the meadow. They turn north where the fairies live in the giant tree known as the Tree of Weep No More. It is a single tree on the far side of the meadow, and it will take them some time to reach it. Luckily in the magical kingdom of Shimmering there are always distractions to keep your heart and mind occupied.

"Come on!" says Hope, pulling Sarah and Allan onward.

"Yes ma'am!" responds Allan. Sarah smiles happily because she knows it is Hope's love and joy that will save her big brother and her.

Hope giggles prettily at being called ma'am. They start heading across the beautiful meadow. As they are walking along Hope looks up into the sky. Once where she saw regular gold clouds floating across the pink sky, now all the clouds are in the shapes of animals and flowers, and they twirl around her for her pleasure.

As Hope is skipping out in front of Sarah and Allan she starts to sing a song she is making up as she goes along.

If I were to dream a dream.

Could it be as wonderful as what I see before me?

I am a lucky little girl.

Because I have people who love me

Who I can turn to for anything.

To every little girl.

I would hope that you know love and intimacy is yours by right.

That there is always somebody there to scare the shadows away at night.

We all have our Whiteknight – we really do.

Our courage can sit us free – he will be there for you.

If I were to dream a dream.

I would want to share what I see before me.

I'm a lucky little girl.

Because I'm free to love.

And free to get all the hugs I need.

To every little girl.

I hope somebody is there to hug you tonight.

To listen to your laughter.

To get your encouragement from your Whiteknight – ever after.

He will help you - all you have to do is say you are not being treated right.

If I were to dream a dream.

I would want it to be just like my loving life.

Yes, I'm a lucky little girl.

Because I'm encouraged to be me.

Because those who matter the most to me - believe in me.

Yes, I'm a lucky little girl.

Because I get all the hugs and kisses I need.

Because love and intimacy has been shared so openly with me.

I would hope the same thing for every little girl.

Because our giggles are gifts to be shared with the world.

Hope smiles prettily as she turns back around to Sarah and Allan and says, "What did you think of my new song?"

"I thought it was wonderful, sweetheart!"

"Thank you, mom. What did you think, Uncle Allan?"

"I thought it was most spectacular. How you tried to share hope and love with all little girls who may not have a positive influence in their lives."

"Guess what, Uncle Allan?"

"What, babygirl?"

"You are my Whiteknight."

Tears flood Allan's eyes from the pure love and unselfishness of Hope's heart and mind. "Thank you, darling girl."

"How much further is it?"

"It's not so much a distance as it is an understanding," says Allan.

"It takes self-discovery to find the fairies and The Tree of Weep No More," adds Sarah.

"How do we do that?" wonders Hope curiously.

Allan and Sarah don't say anything. They just point to a unicorn that is walking towards them.

"Hello," says the white unicorn, who is glowing with an opalescence.
