The big censorship and formatting mess (long string of bold face where it doesn't belong) near the end of Chapter 26 was caused -- as near as I can determine -- by a moderator attempting to censor President Stinson's emotional outburst. Stinson used a string of F-bombs. Some sensitive soul decided to alter the words, and the result was grotesque.
I'm not certain what to do with it at this point. I've pointed out to the Webmaster that Lenny Bruce and George Carlin devoted their careers to lampooning the self-righteous impulses of the authorities and their watchdogs to protect us from 'naughty words.'
Is profane language appropriate? To my way of thinking, it depends. It's like spices, including salt and hot sauce. A little adds flavor; too much spoils the meal. Therein lies the slippery slope of individual taste and preference. Too each, their own.
We'll wait and see how this pans out. More later.
Update: at 21:15 PDT I resubmitted a slightly-corrected (a few minor typos) HTML re-post of the same file. The F-bombs remain. I'm curious to see the result.
